“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, Because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners”
Hi, I am so glad you’re here!
My name is Christina B. Ferreira, certified christian life coach.
I am a seasoned and dedicated follower of Christ with a purpose to help God’s daughters overcome the pain of heartbreak, turn their wounds into wisdom and reclaim their identity in Christ.
Like many women, I too, desired a relationship where I felt seen, heard, appreciated, and most of all...deeply loved. I never fully felt connected to or valued by the people I dated in my past, which often caused me to question my worth and wonder if I was even good enough for anyone. I am well acquainted with betrayal, breakups, rejection, being unequally yoked at times, doubting God, being deceived, feeling insecure, having trust issues, (unknowingly) making relationships (and marriage) an idol, and walking through a long season of singleness. It’s quite the experience that can leave anyone broken. But broken is where God began to work.
I remember the days of feeling disgusted of my own shortcomings, feeling numb, lost, confused, mentally tortured, and lacking a sense of my own identity. Who was I? Really? I was younger and new in the faith. I lacked healthy boundaries, examples to look up to and through a series of events the Lord led me through, I repented and surrendered this area of my life to Him.
The Holy Spirit delivered and convicted me and started showing me my heart and the roots that stemmed from my childhood. I owned up to faults of my own. I received some counsel from my Pastors, sought out coaching and mentoring. I studied some great books and the bible too. I was encouraged to take action steps to move forward into the abundant life God had for me. I established a vision for my life which helped me get unstuck. I was able to identify wrong thought patterns and renew my mind (a continuous work might I add). I just knew that I never wanted to feel the way I had felt relationship after relationship ever again. My heart could not handle that kind of pain anymore.
I stopped chasing love, stopped dating, and refocused my attention on my relationship with God. This helped me to heal and reclaim my identity in Him.
God has used my mess to mature my character, build up wisdom, give my life purpose, and help me become the woman of God He’s called me to be.
Funny thing is, as I look back, throughout these challenging times, I notice a pattern. God kept sending women my way seeking guidance. Women, who were also heartbroken, fearful, lost, didn’t know how to be alone and so on. God was setting me up, but I didn’t know it yet.
Fast forward to 2022, I was sitting in another conversation where my mentor asked, “Christina, have you ever thought of life coaching?” This wasn’t the first time I was asked this. But something stirred inside me to start praying more seriously about it. In early 2023, I was considering where to become trained and I ended up having a vision of my instructor in prayer one night which led me to becoming certified in December 2023.
I say this: I didn’t choose life coaching, life coaching chose me.
I desire to see women of God rise up into everything that God has called them to be. Set free from worldly mindsets, behaviours, attitudes, and relationships. Set-apart for His name’s sake and to encourage you to live intentionally in preparation for your next season. I’ve been praying for you, and if you’re here, it’s no accident. I am passionate about coaching women just like you navigate your journey towards healing, so you can begin living a transformed life filled with purpose.
